4 yrs to 8 yrs: Judo Tots & Sho Award
JUDO TOTS
​
Judo Tots is for those children aged 4 years and is a fun way of helping them learn basic movement skills, balance and coordination. As soon as they reach 5 yrs, they follow the Sho Award.
SHO AWARD
​
The Sho award is part of British Judo's Judo Kids Developement Scheme and is aimed at those aged 5 to 8 yrs. There are nine reward levels, where young children are awarded whilst developing their fundamental physical, technical, social and psychological skills.

Cost
​
The first grading within the Sho Award is free and then £5.00 each grading thereafter.
8 yrs to 11 yrs: Mon System
MON SYSTEM
​
The Mon system is for children aged 8 yrs to 17 years. Each coloured belt is split into three sections for which a child will work on one section at a time. Once they have been graded on this, then they will move onto the next section of the belt. The club aims to hold two to three gradings per school year.
